Hi Morgan! Yes, I know the problem and I think we discussed this before. The limit has been already increased a couple of times, but it’s hard to keep up with your ~3,000 likes :) At that size, the taste is already rather broad and diluted, and even if we’d manage to lift the limit above 3k, personalized recommendations wouldn’t be that relevant.

Are you planning to increase the maximum limit of liked items taken into account in recommendations ?

As a “party buddy” user :p , I never found an application as good as TasteKid, but I’m disappointed by the limit :(

I miss more social features, like an ability to find the most similar person to you according to your shared likes. That would be great!

Awesome! Will tastekid also combine recommendations? When you like Batman the movie you probably will like batman the game or the comic.

Also could you add podcasts in the future? That would make it a complete recommendation engine to me.

Thanks for the full job you’ve done until now :)
But some of my questions didn’t receive any response, from months…
e.g : All recommendations I receive are contents that I already liked or disliked, nothing to discover from months… I already began to search new content on other websites… :(

That’s all fine and dandy, tastekid, but it sounds like you’re arguing against some requests or feedback you’ve received. If that’s the case, why? And even if its not the case, why? There’s nothing wrong with exploring the edge that you feel separates you, but I hope not at the expense of the user experience. I haven’t been involved in the decision process, but all the things you just said I can’t have now I kinda want.
Tastekid dating? Srsly what’s not to like about that idea?
